If their is an issue with the Comenity Business Center website and you're unable to process a transaction:
1. Download the temporary receipt. Call 1-855-497-8176, follow the prompts and to reach the authorization team. You will provide the patient's information to obtain an authorization code. This authorization code verifies that the patient has the funds and holds those funds specifically for your practice.
2. Complete the temporary receipt and have the patient sign it.
3. When the Comenity Business Center website issue is resolved, login, process the transaction including the authorization code, and print the final receipt.
4. Staple the signed temporary receipt to the final receipt. When (if) the patient returns for their appointment/post-op appointment, have them sign the final receipt as well. Retain these copies in case of a patient dispute.
