Fear, Finances & Follow-Up: The 3 Biggest Factors Impacting Elective Procedure Conversion
In vision and cosmetic practices, patients arenβt just making clinical decisionsβtheyβre making emotional and financial ones.
And too often, those decisions stall.
Patients hesitate. They delay. They say, βIβll think about it.β
Not because they donβt want the procedureβbut because something is getting in the way.
In this session, Dallas Logan, a seasoned growth leader across ophthalmology, aesthetics, and cash-pay practices, breaks down the three critical factors that determine whether a patient moves forwardβor walks away:
π Fear β The emotional barriers that go unaddressed
π Finances β The uncertainty that creates hesitation
π Follow-Up β The missed opportunities after the consult
Youβll learn how leading practices are:
Addressing patient concerns with confidence and empathy
Presenting financial options in a way that builds trustβnot pressure
Creating follow-up systems that re-engage and convert interested patients
Turning more consults into completed proceduresβwithout discounting
The takeaway:
If you want to increase conversion in elective care, you donβt need more consultsβyou need a better strategy for what happens during and after them.
This session will give you practical, proven ways to help more patients move forward with confidenceβwhile driving meaningful growth for your practice.

Nearly 60% of patients report delaying or skipping medical care because of cost, according to a new survey from Alphaeon, a leading third-party financing company in the healthcare sector. A nearly identical percentage of respondents reported having had difficulty paying a medical bill in full or on time.
These responses reflect the obstacle high medical costs present to patients, said Thomas Ervesun, Chief Executive Officer of Alphaeon.
